Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how EAZEE LIMITED ("Eazee," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Eazee mobile app, website, and related services.
If you have questions, contact us at platform@eazee.ai.
Information We Collect
Account information
If you create an account or sign in, we collect account information such as your name, email address, Firebase user ID, authentication provider, and related login metadata. You may sign in with email/password, Google, or Apple.
App content
Eazee lets you create and manage tasks, goals, wishlist items, notes, calendar events, reminders, chat messages, preferences, and related content. Most of this content is stored locally on your device.
Some features send selected content to our backend or third-party services when needed to provide the feature. For example, AI features may send relevant chat, task, goal, calendar, or preference context so the assistant can respond.
AI requests
When you use Eazee’s AI features, your prompt and relevant app context may be sent through Eazee’s backend infrastructure, hosted on DigitalOcean, and processed using OpenAI’s API. Depending on the feature you use, this context may include chat messages, tasks, goals, notes, preferences, voice transcripts, calendar information, or other content you choose to use with the AI feature. OpenAI may also process requests when an AI feature uses web search.
OpenAI states that data submitted through its API is not used to train or improve OpenAI’s models unless the API customer explicitly opts in to data sharing. Eazee has not opted in to sharing API data for model training. Eazee does not use Google Workspace API data to create, train, or improve generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
Voice and transcription
If you use voice input or voice notes, microphone audio is sent or streamed to Deepgram for transcription. The resulting transcript may be used within Eazee. If you choose to use that transcript with an AI feature, it may be sent through Eazee’s backend to OpenAI after you allow AI data sharing. Voice input is optional.
Google Calendar
Connecting Google Calendar is optional. Eazee requests a Google Calendar permission that allows Eazee to see, edit, share, and permanently delete calendars you can access, including their events. Although this permission is broad, Eazee accesses or changes Google Calendar data only as needed to provide user-facing calendar features and carry out actions you request or enable within Eazee.
Depending on the features you use, Google Calendar data may include calendar names and identifiers, event titles, dates and times, locations, descriptions, attendees, reminders, recurrence information, and Google event identifiers.
Google Calendar data is used to display and synchronize calendar information and to create, update, move, or delete events when requested by you. Eazee will not share or permanently delete an entire calendar unless you initiate a feature that clearly performs that action.
If you separately allow Eazee’s AI features, relevant Google Calendar content may be sent through Eazee’s backend to OpenAI solely to provide the AI feature you requested. Connecting Google Calendar does not by itself authorize this AI data sharing.
We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising, cross-app tracking, credit decisions, surveillance, data brokerage, or generalized AI-model training. We do not permit humans to read Google Calendar data except with your explicit consent, when necessary to provide support requested by you, for security or abuse investigation, or when required by law.
The use and transfer of raw or derived user data received from Google Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Video guidance features
For recipe, skill, or video-guidance features, Eazee may use YouTube search terms, video IDs or URLs, and public video transcripts from YouTube/Google APIs and Supadata to generate guidance. These transcripts relate to the selected video, not to your personal app content.
Notifications
Eazee requests notification permission only when you create or enable reminders. Reminder notifications are used to alert you about tasks or events.
Diagnostics and logs
We collect limited diagnostic and operational logs to keep Eazee reliable, debug errors, prevent abuse, and secure the service. Logs may include timestamps, endpoint names, request IDs, account identifiers, app version, device/platform metadata, status codes, provider error codes, and performance information.
We do not intentionally log request bodies, raw audio, transcripts, authentication tokens, API keys, Google refresh tokens, or full user content such as notes, tasks, chats, calendar event details, or voice transcripts.
We use Sentry for app crash and error monitoring. Sentry reports may include crash stack traces, app version, device and operating system metadata, timestamps, request metadata related to failed network errors, and limited diagnostic context needed to debug reliability issues. We do not enable Sentry Logs, breadcrumbs, Session Replay, screenshots, or default PII collection.

How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to provide Eazee, operate and secure our services, comply with applicable law, or with your consent.
Service providers may include:
-
Firebase and Google for authentication and account services;
-
Apple for Sign in with Apple;
-
DigitalOcean for backend hosting;
-
OpenAI for AI responses, request processing, and AI-enabled web search;

Google Calendar content is sent to OpenAI only after you have connected Google Calendar, separately allowed AI data sharing, and used an AI feature for which that Calendar content is relevant.
These providers process information according to their applicable agreements, terms, and privacy policies. We do not sell personal information, use app content for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking, or allow Google Workspace API data to be used for training generalized AI models.
Data Storage and Retention
Local app content remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app’s data, delete your account, or uninstall the app.
Account information is stored in Firebase until your account is deleted or until it is no longer required to provide the service.
AI requests are processed to provide the requested response. Eazee does not intentionally maintain long-term copies of prompts, responses, Google Calendar content, or other app content on its backend. Operational logs may temporarily contain information such as timestamps, endpoint names, request identifiers, status codes, provider error codes, and performance information. Our logging is designed not to include raw prompts, raw audio, transcripts, authentication tokens, or complete Calendar event details.
Eazee configures supported OpenAI API requests with application-state storage disabled using store: false. This does not mean that OpenAI retains no information. OpenAI states that its abuse-monitoring logs may contain prompts, responses, and related metadata and may be retained for up to 30 days by default, unless longer retention is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect OpenAI’s services or third parties. OpenAI may also temporarily retain or cache information as described in its API data controls.
Some information may remain temporarily in backups, security records, operational logs, or provider systems where required for security, legal, or operational purposes.
Your Choices and Controls
You can:
-
delete local tasks, goals, notes, events, chat history, and other app content;
-
decline AI data sharing when Eazee requests permission;
-
stop using voice or AI features at any time;
-
log out to remove locally stored Google OAuth tokens from that device;
-
revoke Eazee’s Google access through your Google Account;
-
delete your Eazee account from Home → Settings → Manage Account → Delete Account;
-
revoke microphone or notification permission through your device settings; and
-
contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or assistance with your information.
When you delete your Eazee account, Eazee attempts to delete your Firebase account, backend records under our control, local app data, scheduled notifications, AI consent state, and stored Google authentication tokens. Eazee also attempts to revoke connected Google or Apple access where supported.
Deleting your Eazee account does not automatically delete existing events from Google Calendar. You can delete those events through Eazee before disconnecting or directly through Google Calendar.
Managing and deleting Google data
To stop Eazee from accessing your Google Account, visit your Google Account’s third-party connections page, select Eazee, and remove its access. Google explains this process in its third-party connection documentation.
Removing Eazee’s Google access stops future Calendar access but does not automatically delete events already stored in Google Calendar. You can review, edit, or delete those events directly in Google Calendar.
You may also delete your Eazee account from Home → Settings → Manage Account → Delete Account. For additional help managing or deleting Google-related information, contact us at platform@eazee.ai.
Permissions
Microphone access is used only for optional voice input and voice notes. Before recording, Eazee explains that audio is sent to Deepgram for transcription and that the resulting transcript may be sent to OpenAI if you choose to use it with an AI feature.
Notification access is used only for reminders and related app notifications.
Google Calendar access is optional. The requested permission allows Eazee to see, edit, share, and permanently delete calendars you can access. Eazee uses this access only for user-facing Calendar features and actions you request or enable.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information.
Google OAuth tokens are stored using operating-system-protected secure storage, such as the iOS Keychain or Android Keystore-backed storage, rather than ordinary unencrypted application storage. Tokens are scoped to the applicable Eazee account and are removed from the device when the user logs out or deletes the account.
Information transmitted between Eazee, our backend, Google, OpenAI, and other service providers is transmitted using encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to production systems and user information is limited to what is necessary to operate, secure, and support the service.
Children
Eazee is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If the law in your country requires you to be older to use online services, you must meet that age to use Eazee.
If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
International Transfers
We are based in New Zealand. We and our service providers may process information in New Zealand, the United States, and other countries where our service providers operate.
When we disclose personal information outside New Zealand, we take reasonable steps to use service providers, contracts, or safeguards designed to protect that information. Some countries may not provide the same level of protection as New Zealand privacy law.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and provide notice where required.
